An Alpha 1.1 Patch is scheduled for tomorrow morning (Pacific Time), November 9th!
As we work to resolve the critical issues you pointed out in your feedback, (like controls, camera, and other fixes), we’ve also implemented some faster fixes! These quick adjustments, known as hotfixes, are lower risk changes that we felt could improve player experience before the end of Alpha 1 (with a smaller chance of breaking things)!
What's in Alpha 1.1 Patch:
Don’t worry, there's still time to test! The Alpha 1 playtest will be extended! The official closing date will be November 17th, and there will be plenty of test rounds in the future! How to Install the Patch:
To download the patch, launch the game from Steam! The patch should automatically install. (Make sure you're connected to the internet!) 😊🌟
If the patch does not automatically install, head to the Island Skies Alpha Playtest page in your Steam Library. From there, you’ll be able to click the “update” button. 🎮💖
Not sure if the 1.1 Patch installed? 🤔 Check the top center of your screen and make sure it says "Alpha 1.1 testing. Do not share."!
